UPN Atlanta to end 10PM newscast and "Atlanta Tonight"

WUPA/UPN Atlanta has announced on its website that on August 28th, "UPN Atlanta News at Ten" and "Atlanta Tonight" will come to an end.

"UPN Atlanta News at Ten" is produced by WXIA-TV/11 Alive and is anchored by Karyn Greer Friday-Tuesday and Keith Whitney on Wednesday and Thursday.

"Atlanta Tonight" is produced by Career Sports and Entertainment, and is hosted by Tamera Gilliam and Shannon Wiseman.

There is no word at this time on what will be replacing these programs in the 10 PM time slot.
