Fox 5 reporter quits after being abandoned at a Waffle House

Danielle Reese, who had been a reporter for WAGA/Fox 5 for shortly under a year, a Fox owned and operated station, has quit after she was abandoned by a photographer at a Waffle House, under orders of the news director on duty.

Reese, who is pregnant, had a doctor's note stating that she is not to work more than eight hours a day. Reese and her photographer were returning from a news story 40 miles from the studio, when the news desk ordered the crew to return. Reese refused, and the news desk ordered the photographer to drop her off and return to the story. Reese then called a taxi. When she returned to the studio, she returned her cell phone, cleaned out her desk and quit.
